Ombré Microshading brows is a permanent makeup service for those wanting to create greater density to their natural brow hairs and shape. This technique typically involves shading from light to darkest starting from the front of the brow to the tail correspondingly. A thorough brow consultation will be done before your actual session to determine shape, darkness, and your overall goals. At this time, we only recommend this service to clients who have a full amount of brow hair. Results should last 1-2 years before noticeable fading but is dependent on your skin type and aftercare.

Prior to the start of the service, we will discuss your brow goals and map the perfect brow using key measurements, your face shape, and your natural hair flow. *The service does not start until you approve and we mutually agree on the brow shape.

After-care Considerations:

How to keep your brows looking fabulous

Do not apply any creams, ointments, or get the brows wet for the first 24 hrs (we cleansed your skin multiple times during the service with a surgical wash). Do not apply anything on them, except the healing cream we sent you with, for the duration of the healing period. See below for specifics regarding what you may expect.

Things NOT to do:

  • DO NOT expose your brows to the sun during the healing process. We highly recommend you wear a hat or visor in the 10 days following your appointment with no direct sunlight exposure. UV Rays can alter the pigment of your tattoo and cause fading and photodegredation. After the first 10 days, it is immperative to apply SPF daily to extend the longevity of your micropigmentation.

  • DO NOT sweat excessively for 14 days. Very light exercise is fine.

  • DO NOT run direct water on your brow tattoo. If there is a need to clean, use a clean cotton round, pad, or q-tip and mild soap for 14 days.

  • DO NOT use any makeup, creams or exfoliants on the brows for 14 days except the healing cream we send with you.

  • DO NOT visit sauna’s, pools, and steam rooms for 30 days.

  • DO NOT get massages or facials or skin treatments during the healing process for 30 days.

  • DO NOT go tanning for 30 days.

  • DO not use exfoliants, retinol acids, or AHA’s on the brow area for at least 30 days.  It will fade your tattoo prematurely.

  • DO NOT use laser light therapy ever on your brow tattoo. This can darken, lighten, and distort the pigment

  • DO NOT use Vaseline on your tattoo.

Here is what to expect in the 2 weeks following your PMU appointment:

  • You may experience redness however this will subside within a few hours. DO NOT expect your brow tattoo to heal perfectly after the first session. This is a 2 step process for some clients. It takes time. BE PATIENT during your 14 day healing process, your brows will change and appear different from day to day.

  • The pigment in the brow area will appear darker than the initial color of the first day. This is due to oxidation of the pigment and is a normal occurrence.

  • The skin in the brow area will begin to scab. This is a natural healing process from the micro needle breaking the skin.

  • The skin in the brow area will continue to scab and eventually shed. It is of utmost importance that you do not pick the scabbing prematurely. This will cause pigment to lift prematurely and/or cause scarring to the service area.

  • The crust should have completely shed and the pigment behind may look very faint. DO NOT WORRY!! The color will return gradually in the days to come. When the flaking sheds, the pigment may seem faint as a fresh layer of skin has healed over the brow tattoo. Give your brows a few weeks and the pigment will become clearer.

  • Your brows are healed externally! You may resume washing and makeup in the brow area. As a precaution, you should never chemical peel and/or exfoliate directly over the brows, however your normal skin routine may resume.

  • Your brow tattoo will take up to 4 weeks (28 days) to exfoliate and up to 6 weeks from your initial service before they fully heal underneath the skin. Color will continue to change on a daily basis until all healing is complete. You may experience itchiness in the brows after the 10 days for up to 2 months due to the healing process of the dermal layer.
